iCheckMusic: complete popular music lists

Hey everyone,

My name is Ben, and I want to introduce iCheckMusic. It’s essentially a primitive clone of iCheckMovies, but for music, where you can check off albums from popular music lists. If you’re interested, check it out and let me know what you think.

I plan on adding a couple lists a week as well as implementing new features. If you have any ideas regarding features or lists, feel free to email me at obringer.20@gmail.com or comment on this thread.

This what the world needed, Ben. Nice job!
I’m going to use this for systematically listening to albums on some of these lists. So no checks yet, but it still looks awesome.

Two things you should change soon:

  • introduce real profiles instead of just email addresses
  • enable users to rate their albums (1-5 stars) or otherwise at least make a like/dislike button

Yeah, nice. I also checked about 54 albums.

But it seems like some lists are incomplete by now? The 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die has only 643 albums.

Truly a heaven’s gift! Would be nice to have an artist’s page though, from which you could be directed to all the artist’s listed albums.

Hey everyone. It’s been a while, but I’ve made a lot of additions to icheckmusic.co including being able to recommend albums. Happy to chat if you have any thoughts or feedback.
