Ratings.csv import not importing all films

It doesn’t seem to be importing every film I rate, even though the imdb ID’s are matching to a film on the site.

Another weird thing is I rated the hitman’s wife’s bodyguard on imdb on Jun 22. I imported marginally different imdb files on jun 24, jul 5, and jul 10. It didn’t import the movie on jun 24 or jul 5, but it DID import on jul 10.

In general, it seems like newer movies are the ones having problems. For example, this last update, I imported a 1977 film fine, but missed two 2020s and a 2021.

How many films are in your csv?
Someone else reported this recently and I’ve been trying to figure out what’s happening but haven’t been able to find any patterns. For them some old films didn’t import so I don’t think the year is related, but who knows.

I’ve got a little under 2600 votes.

I don’t think size should be the issue then. :slightly_frowning_face:
I’m not sure what else to ask at the moment.

I created a new test account with 11 films, and the 3 still don’t import (f9, des, zola). I can’t really notice any patterns in the file that seem unusual.

Interesting, I get the same results, but still can’t figure out any patterns either.

Is there any developer that wants to look at this bug? This type of issue has continued to happen and isn’t specific to the movies in the list above. I probably can only import about 80% of the movies I try. I have to manually check all my movies, but it’s really annoying to do when I already rate them on imdb.

@Marijn any chance you can take another look at this? I’m really stumped as to what the issue could be.
