Hey there,

Just wondering if an API will ever be implemented. I don’t want to detract from the work going on the beta, but I feel the value of iCheckMovies is in its database and not its UI - so it’d be great to have an API so that more than one UI could exist. There are always some people who will prefer native apps. It could even be restricted to premium users if running costs are a concern.

We might release an API in the future, but there are no concrete plans yet.

I would love to make some standalone tools with an API. And i absolutely agree with OP that the strengths of this site is with its database.

+1 for an ICM API. Would be super useful. I have made an app that checks if any movies from the 1001 list are on TV any time soon and getting all the data would be brilliant
