Update (July 2020):
From now on you don’t need to post update-info requests in this thread. Everyone can do it now!
Go to the beta-page of a movie. Hit the button with three dots and there you see the update-info button. After hitting that, you can refresh the page to check if everything went through as you expected (normally it takes only 2 seconds or so).
If something doesn’t work like you expect, feel free to post here to ask for help.
This is a thread for posting movies that need their imdb info updated on ICM. If the info is wrong on imdb update it there. When you see the change go live on imdb, then you can post here.
Please post an ICM link and say what needs updating.
For now only post updates for the following:
Incorrect titles
Incorrect/missing years
Incorrect/missing directors
*AKAs that show up as display titles on default imdb. See this post for an example of what will and won’t import.
You can post for runtime updates, but only if the runtime is NOT tied to a specific country.
If the runtime looks like the first case, with a country attached it will not work. Try to fix it on imdb if you like. If it looks like the second then it’s fine.
Do NOT post updates for genre (unless there are no genres displayed at all). At the moment these are either not working or not showing up. When this changes I’ll update this post.
I had the same problem with Twin Sisters (original: De Tweeling). It’s not updating as well. So far these are the only title-corrections that didn’t work.
iCM just doesn’t like the Dutch titles, bit weird for a Dutch site.
I updated it myself on IMDb a couple days ago… when I bring the page up on IMDb it gives the original title as it should be - Dr. Mabuse, der Spieler. Is there something else that needs to change on the IMDb page?
